Global Warming

          Global warming is the increase of average temperature of earth’s atmosphere and ocean. The world is certainly warming. This warming is a result of what is known as the greenhouse effect.
          Greenhouse effect is the phenomenon that certain gases in the atmosphere act like glass in the greenhouse, allowing sunlight through to heat the earth’s surface but doesn’t allow the heat radiate back to space. Greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide (CO2) methane (CH4) CFCs and others. They occur from both human and natural causes like volcanic, deforestation, fossil fuel burning, etc. The warming affects both natural and human life too. The global climate changes including sea-level rise due to the melting of polar ice caps, change in rainfall patterns, storm and hurricanes will become more frequent and stronger, increase risk of flood and droughts, threats to biodiversity and also harm public health. Therefore, we’d deal this problem by using less fossil fuel and slowing down deforestation.
          I think we can solve this problem by reduce greenhouse gases emissions. Individual should conserve energy and uses efficient energy which produces less CO2. We should stop deforestation then start replanting trees. If we all take a part in this reduce greenhouse gases emissions program, the world will breath again.   
        

Submarine

          Nowadays the world in the globalization and technology come important in mankind routine. In transportation, technologies help us to be more convenient and safe times. Submarine is one of technology in transportation. It’s a craft designed to navigate underwater. Submarine was almost used in military purpose.
          Submarine first appeared in 1578 form the pen of William Bourne, a British mathematician but it has never constructed. In 1620 Cornelius Drebbel, a Dutch inventor constructed the first real Submarine. Drebbel’s submarine was propelled by means of oars. He wrapped the wooden row boat tightly in waterproofed leather. The oars stick out trough flexible leather seals. Air tubes with floats went to the surface for provide the craft oxygen. His submarine successfully maneuvered at depths of 12 to 15 feet under the surface of Thames River for three hours. His later models were larger. One of his later model was rode by King Jame I of England to show its safety for attractive the navy.
          Cornelius Jacobszoon Drebbel, the submarine inventor was born in Alkmaar, Netherlands in 1572. He simply received a necessary education. In 1595 he turned to a mechanical invention. He made instruments and designed water supply system for town. In 1604 He work in King Jame I‘s court, England. After that he went to visit the court of Emperor Rudolf II in Prague and live there for decade. He was imprisoned when Thirty Years’ War beginning by Ferdinand V and was set free in 1613. He returned to England and started devote himself to invent microscope and submarine. After that he was employed by British Navy. Last Cornelius Drebbel died on 1633.
          The first submarine used in military purpose is Turtle. It was built in 1776 by the American Devid Bushnell. Turtle is one – man, wooden submarine. It was the first submarine that used screws for propulsion. Turtle was used during the American Revolutionary War. It’s would approach enemy’s ships by submerged to attach explosives to those ship’s hull. It tried and failed to sink British’s main warship. However, the military submarine was developed in both submerge and explosives performances.
          Submarine has many advantages. It prevent passengers from discover when you need private time. It is safe from whether violence storm and pirates which do so infest your voyage, whether from ice and great frost when you travel to the pole. Submarine also has great advantages to navy both for survey and do secret mission. There are many benefits that unspeakable.
          Since submarine was invented and developed to be the true submarine that is effective like in this day. It gave us many benefits especially in the military and exploring underwater. In exploring; It gave us many new knowledge like survey the earth crust to study the natural phenomenon or study the live being underwater. Submarine lift mankind living level up by gave us knowledge that important to develop our utilities. In military; It kept the peace by protected us from the warship, etc. Technology is important for us in this day. Inventors invented the invention for mankind benefits like submarine.
